Community Update – Elwick Village |
||
|
Whilst conducting patrols on TUESDAY 20TH October 2026, I became aware of damage to a lamp post and associated road signage located within Elwick Village, near the top of the bank leading towards the A19. I appreciate that damaged street furniture and signage can cause concern for residents and road users, particularly in an area used regularly by local traffic. As a result, I have submitted a report to the relevant council department so that the damage can be assessed and appropriate repairs arranged. Thank you to those residents who continue to highlight issues affecting the local community. Your reports help us and our partners identify concerns and take action where required. I will provide a further update once additional information becomes available. PC Connor Bide
